Dr. Fawcett Acknowledged with Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition Award

Dr. Wayde Fawcettacademyofgeneraldentistry was recently granted the Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition (LLSR) from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). The honor is bestowed upon previous recipients of prestigious AGD Mastership awards who continue to demonstrate dedication to continuing education, community service, and the fellowship of dental practitioners. Along with only 157 other dentists nationwide, Dr. Fawcett received AGD Mastership in 2007 when he was named a “Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD)”.
In order to qualify for the Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition, recipients must show extensive continuing education study amounting to 1,600 hours in 17 different dental disciplines. Furthermore, they must also show a combined 100 hours of dental-related community involvement and/or service to organized dentistry. The LLSR is the highest honor bestowed by the Academy of General Dentistry, and only a small number of the nation’s dentists are able to complete the demanding requirements for consideration. Dr. Fawcett is proud to be among this elite group and hopes that he is able to further advance his knowledge of dentistry to better serve his patients and the community.
