Farhana Fawcett, R.Ph. – Executive Director
After growing up in England, I moved to Houston when I was 16 years old. While in college, Wayde and I were married. After graduating from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy, I had a long career practicing pharmacy before moving on to a rewarding sales position as a pharmaceutical rep. During that time we were blessed with two wonderful daughters, who are my pride and joy. In 1993, I joined forces with my husband to build and manage his practice, and we have been successfully working together ever since. I am so proud to be working with such an exceptional team of professionals who share the same passion for excellence in general, advanced, and cosmetic dentistry.
Karen – Treatment Coordinator
I’m still as passionate about being in the dental field as I was 34 years ago when I first entered the profession as a dental assistant working with the US Air Force. I have had the privilege to share eight years with Dr. Fawcett and his team. It has truly been amazing. The level of experience and knowledge shared by his entire team shows how dedicated Dr. Fawcett is in providing excellent dentistry to his patients. Since being in the dental field I have worn many hats, including dental assistant, treatment coordinator, and insurance specialist – working with both medical & dental insurances. I have enjoyed every minute. I have been laughing with my husband and high school sweetheart for 36 years. We have a blast with our 3 sons… there is never a dull moment in our house, and when the opportunity arises, I enjoy relaxing to music, traveling, outdoors activities and cooking. I love to see people smile, so it’s no surprise that I would find my career in dentistry….Keep Smiling!
Emily – Lead Clinical Assistant
I am originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, and I moved to Houston in 2000. I am a graduate from Eastern College of Health in New Orleans. I am a Registered Dental Assistant and I have a Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Certificate for the state of Texas. I’ve been a dental assistant at Fawcett Center for Dentistry since February ‘08.
I greatly enjoy spending time with my husband, my 7 year old son, and my family in New Orleans. I pride myself on having an outgoing personality, and a smile on my face as much as possible!
Kelly – Business Assistant
In 2007 I was honored to join Dr. Fawcett’s elite dental team in providing exceptional dental care. I have 30 years of experience in the dental field as a Office Administrator, Registered Dental Assistant and Surgical Assistant. My background includes certifications in RDA, Nitrous Oxide, Radiology, CPR, HIPPA, OSHA. I feel lucky to be able to go to work every day and to love what I do.
I have called myself a Texan for the past 20 years, and have enjoyed every minute of it! I have been blessed with a 29 year marriage to my husband Chris; we have three awesome daughters that keep us constantly amazed! In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, gardening, watching movies.
Anjelica – Dental Hygienist
My dental career began as a receptionist when I was 16 years old. The summer after high school I enrolled in a dental assisting and received my certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with the hopes of one day becoming a registered dental hygienist.
While I was pursing my Psychology degree at the University of Houston, I continued to work as a dental assistant because dentistry opened so many opportunities for me. My hopes of becoming a dental hygienist finally came true in 2012 when I completed my training in Houston and became a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
I am a member of the Greater Houston Dental Hygiene Society, American Dental Hygienist Association and Bellaire Periodontics Dental Hygiene Study Club. I have also dedicated community service hours to Project Saving Smiles, which helps reduce tooth decay in underserved children.
As a dental hygienist, I strive to help my patients lead healthier lives, provide service to others and continually advance my knowledge in dentistry to better educate my patients and I look forward to doing it for many more years to come.
